About the Documentary
This documentary tells the story of a state-wide, six week event that brought communities together to celebrate Indiana's 200th anniversary of statehood. A ceremonial torch built at Purdue University was carried by over 2200 Hoosiers through 3200+ miles of Indiana.
As one of three rotating directors of photography, I oversaw our mobile production. We worked closely with state police, event organizers, and volunteers as we followed the torch through the entire 3200+ miles. The unit consisted of C100's and a DJI Osmo, shooting out the top of a Subaru. At the end of each day we edited dailies to post to our various social media accounts. While the interviews utilized a RED Scarlet, Sony PMW-F5, and the C300. as well as the interviews.
